Maggie's Story
60 plus years young, mother of two mostly adult children, living in Greenville, NC after many years in interesting locations. What I remember about Severna Park High School is how much I disliked traditional school. In my junior year I enrolled at Bay Country School and blossomed . I was able to return to Severna Park HS and finish school out in good style but never quite fit in any particular group. In the years since, I went to college at the University of Hawaii and lived in Honolulu for almost a decade working in corporate marketing. I married a pilot in the USMC and spent many years with him living in various places on the West Coast. He passed away on active duty in 1992 and I have been a single lady ever since. I took the kids and lived about ten years in Chicago where my late husband was from until I moved to NC. I've worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist for quite awhile, work I love. I have what I consider to be a very rewarding life.
